sarahshermansamuel-studio2Merry Christmas to team SSS! As of last week we have a bigger and better spanking new studio! It is a blank slate, all ready for me to settle into, and when I say blank slate… I mean it… with the white on white on white blank slate. The only design decision I have made so far is that ridiculously beautiful chandelier (by Park Studio LA). I can’t wait to get out of my living room (where I temporarily set up shop while Archer was just a wee newbie) and back into a space that has me inspired.

sarahshermansamuel-studioRight now, I am typing from this makeshift workstation while my design wheels are turning on how to make this the office of my dreams and I’ve gathered up a few inspiration images that I want to capture the vibe from and unleash it into the space.

The first image, is from the San Giorgio Hotel in Mykonos (taken by Lauren of Perpetually Chic) and I love how the tones of the wood and sisal, as well as the pink rugs, warm up the all white space and it has such a relaxed vibe. That rug and oversized mirror, and planter, and bench, ok everything in that second image (designed by Amber Interiors, photo by Tessa Neustadt) has me swoony as well.  And finally, the last image is in “the Apartment by the Line” (via Lust for Life) and it completely nails the California minimal boho style that I love. Wish me luck! x
