mandy moore guest room peek // sarah sherman samuelLast week I shared the design of one of the guest rooms in the Mandy Moore residential project and today I am stoked to give you a sneak peek into the almost finished space! I teamed up with Brooklinen to give Mandy a guest room that ticks all the luxurious boxes of a boutique hotel without breaking the bank on the bedding.

Most of the rooms I design have a mix of high and low and this room is no exception, although the balance here weighs much more on the high end, we still managed to utilize a couple big box items as well.

Another way to get a bigger bang for your buck is to look for companies like Brooklinen that cut out the middleman and sell direct to consumer instead of retail. That means they don’t have the cost of distributing product to store locations which translates to a luxury good without being overly expensive.

You can mix and match the colors but I got all “cream” colored. I love how it is just a subtle off white shade which feels a little more nuanced and special than your average bright white bedding. You can feel the quality in the soft sheets that I sure wouldn’t have minded curling up in for a nice nap (Especially since Clover hasn’t been quite as kind in the nights as our dream sleeper Archie was. Le Sigh).

I also picked up their down pillows in mid-plush and an all-season down comforter to complete her bedroom set that her guests won’t want to leave.

Then I loaded up on some decorative throw pillows of different textures and folded a blanket at the foot of the bed, all in the same cream color, for a layered, ‘I want to jump in this bed right now’, feel.

Who else wants to be Mandy’s permanent house guest?!

P.S. Try the bedding for yourself! SSS readers can get $20 off + free shipping on Brooklinen.com if you use the code “Sarah20” at checkout.
