entry, hanging chair // smitten studioLast time I shared about the entryway I had it all covered… to the right of the door. Now, I’ve turned my attention to the left of the door and started a little seating area with the addition of a pretty little hanging chair.

entry, hanging chair // smitten studioOriginally, I was going to add a simple long bench in front of the window but there is so much space there. I wanted to be able to fill it a bit more than a bench would, and a hanging chair is always good for some personality and filling a space but not weighing it down.

Next, I want to round out the area with some sort of occasional table to sit next to the chair. A place for books, mail, etc., and also a place to prop up my feet when perched in the chair. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite options below.

coffee/occasional table round-up // smitten studioI have my heart set on one of these guys but I do fancy each of them. Which would you choose?

Free Range Coffee Table by Blu Dot // Shroom Table by CB2 // Semisfera by Anthropologie // Rustic Storage Table by West Elm // Trienna Table by Artek // Round Glass Top Table by Urban Outfitters
