mood-boardLast week I had the pleasure of co-hosting an opening party for one of my favorite paint brands, Farrow & Ball. They have just opened a new showroom in Pasadena and along with the event, they asked me to create an IRL “city palette” moodboard inspired by the city, to showcase at the party. I had so much fun bouncing around Pasadena, hitting up my favorite spots (the best part was getting a complete stranger to take the photo of me (shown below) at the gardens. I am still laughing at the conversation) and sharing them in an instagram takeover on their IG. While I was gathering photos I made sure to pay extra attention to the colors.

travel stories: northern cali

RUSSIAN-RIVER-house3RUSSIAN-RIVER-house2A couple weeks ago we jumped on a quick flight up to San Francisco, rented a car, and did a little road trip through Northern California. I have to say it was just the right amount of travel time with a toddler in tow. A one hour flight = piece of cake, then an hour and a half drive to our first stop… perfect naptime length! We rented this gorgeous house for a couple days on Russian River, and then drove further north to Boonville. All the details and our route after the jump…  READ MORE
