Travel Stories: The Amado

the amado palm springs // sarah sherman samuelWhile our A-frame still has no bathroom, about a half of a kitchen, and is covered in saw dust, we are getting extra familiar with all the hotels and lodging options in Palm Springs. One of my favorite Airbnb’s in the area is The Amado where we stayed this week while checking in on the construction of our place.

There are 5 units total, we stayed in unit number 5 which is the only two bedroom and comes with it’s own semi-private patio as well. We had my parents in town so the two bedroom was perfect. You can also rent out the entire place for events (sign me up!). Lucky for us, since it was mid-week we had it all to ourselves anyway!

The decor is minimal in all the right ways with some pretty great art on the walls. I’ve rounded up a few of the pieces so you can steal the look and bring The Amado vibe into your home.
