Now that the cabinet doors and drawer fronts are on, I think it is about time we address the lighting situation. The naked bulb dangling above the countertop is not cutting it. Do you see it up the top left corner, just hanging there waiting until nightfall when it will blind us with its fully exposed 75watts. Yep, thats the one. I am thinking of replacing it with a pair of pendant lights.

I love them all, but think the Alto and Savoy would look nice in your space! The shapes are simple and also substantial. The Savoy would bring in some of the copper from your faucet 🙂
I love Alto but it’s probably because I have something similar to light up my hallway. Your house is really coming together, I love it so much that I want to move right in. Sadly, moving to California is not in my cards….
If price wasn’t a factor I would say savoy. But I think the isle is just as beautiful/simple, and would compliment the rest of your home! Both are timeless.

My first thought was the alto. After seeing many people say Savoy, I gave it another look and like that one too!
I was thisclose to buying the geo one but ended up making an icosahedron out of bamboo myself – I still need to spray paint it gold and then hang the sucker, but yeah. I just can’t justify giving urban outfitters money anymore.
These pendants lights are all so amazing, but I especially love the Aura and Geo lights!
I am looking for pendant lamps as well, but it is important for me to find a light that is energy efficient. Maybe the Savoy pendant lamp would cover the ugly energy efficient light bulbs. 🙂
I actually would vote for something lighter if you are having two fixture. Like the Aura or One. Then it wouldn’t compete with a statement piece over in the dining room either. But I do LOVE the Savoy and the Isle!
The Savoy is amazing. But I also adore the One and think it would work lovely in that space. Such fun choices.

I really like the Savoy, but then I noticed its maximum wattage is 25. Even with two, that’s not a lot of light. For what it’s worth, I think the Geo is a fading trend.

I vote for the Isle. It seems just right: soft-modern like the organic shape of the stools, fits with the classic elements (the green cabinets, the Calcutta Marble), and not too “special” where it might compete with a future Dining Room fixture.
Rose, Geo or Alto! Rose or Geo would definitely bring more visual interest to the ceiling in the kitchen..

I think “three” will compliment the mixer the best (and the wall hanging in the entry you just posted DIY instructions on).
I know you already purchased your lamp…but Gilt is having a sale on Overhead Lighting! There are some really interesting options over there. Perhaps you might need another light in another room??? 🙂
Does anyone know if the Geo is actually a pendant that is hard wired? I know maybe of their pendants plug in to outlets.
Have you looked at any pendants from Schoolhouse electric? The Isaac pendant would look awesome!!!
Are your walls the same color as the cabinets? If not, what brand and shade did you use there? So clean and fresh!
