If you have seen me recently (or watch my IG stories) you have witnessed me running around like mad trying to get projects wrapped up before baby. Acura recently loaned me out their new MDX Sport Hybrid which I have taken to all corners of town in picking up items for my Mandy Moore residential project and I’ve received a lot of inquiries about what my go-to home decor stores are in LA so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share a round-up while I also gush about my month with the Acura MDX Sport Hybrid.

First, it was my first time ever driving a hybrid and I was so impressed with how long I could go between fill ups! In the entire month I only had to put gas in once and like I said, I have been in the car A LOT lately. Mandy lives on the opposite site of town from me so site visits are an automatic 2 hours in the car. One feature I loved on those long trips in this heat are the air cooled seats! It has been 100 degree plus at her house (and no air conditioning since it is currently an open job site) so when I get back into the car and can turn on the cooling seats, this oh so pregnant mama was thanking her lucky stars.

The styling of the MDX is also right up my alley. The unique headlights and the black rims (you known I love anything monochromatic) feel really modern. It has also been so nice to be able to have the extra space in the back of the MDX for toting things around and picking up furniture etc. It has more than my current vehicle even though they are both SUV’s.

And now onto where I have been doing all my favorite shopping for my clients…

Midland
Washington Blvd.
Culver City

I’ve already shared my love for Midland when it comes to fashion, but they have some great special home items too.

Kelly Wearstler
Melrose Ave.
West Hollywood

Kelly Wearstler has been an inspiration for me since I was just out of college and working in advertising. One of our clients was the Viceroy which was just getting built and Ms. Wearstler designed. I worked on the sales brochures and fell head over heals for all the stunning images.

Consort
Melrose Ave.

Consort is another fave that brings some serious edge to interiors. Think high fashion for your home.

Lawson Fenning
Melrose Ave.

Right down the street is Lawson Fenning. They actually have two locations but the Melrose location is where I usually go. We picked up a sofa from here for Mandy Moore. The furniture is to die for and they also have a seriously killer collection of ceramics.

Nickey Kehoe
Beverly Blvd.

Also in the same hood is Nickey Kehoe, they stock their own furniture as well as vintage finds for a more warm and eclectic vibe.

Surfing Cowboys
Venice Blvd.

Speaking of vintage, one of my favorite resources for that laid back California vintage style is Surfing Cowboys.

See below for a more complete list of my favorite LA home stores. Happy Shopping!

Thanks to Acura for lending me the MDX and for sponsoring this post. This was my personal review of the vehicle, all thoughts and ideas are my own.
