This is definitely one of the easiest DIY‘s I have put together and I really just did it on the fly. You could also make it all your own by switching up the eucalyptus for flowers or other greenery, increasing the number of dowels used, etc. Really, the variations are endless… making me want to make another, and another!
The first thing I did was lay the dowels out on the floor, spaced out how I wanted them. Then I started with the full roll of yarn and tied the end onto the left side of the bottom dowel with a simple knot. I then tied knots on the next two dowels up and stretched the yarn out as high as I wanted it (about two feet above the dowels) and finished tying the rest of the knots, going down along the right side.
Next I gathered a bunch of eucalyptus and tied a piece of yarn around its’ end securing it together (repeating that step twice to make two bunches). Then finally I tied the eucalyptus bunches to the wall hanging with a bow, using the same yarn.
